About
The Lost Creek Sentinel is a community-focused newspaper delivering local news, stories, business highlights, and event information to southeast Weld and northwest Morgan Counties in both print and digital formats. We proudly serve the I-76 corridor with trusted, hyperlocal journalism. Delivered to over 18000 homes and businesses in a 10-zip-code area, we strive to connect the local businesses with the residents of the communities and the local communities with each other.
Additional Info
When we revived the paper in early 2025, our goal was twofold: to honor the legacy established by the previous owner, and to respectfully acknowledge that every new chapter deserves its own direction. As we continue to grow, learn, and serve our communities, we feel the time has come to forge our own path.
That’s why, at some point in 2026—once all of the proper legal documents are in place—we will begin a thoughtful and intentional rebranding to The Lost Creek Sentinel by HEARTLAND HERITAGE MEDIA which will be our newly formed Non Profit Organization.
We chose this name because it reflects exactly who we are and what we strive to do: promote, educate, and publish community-based media that highlights the cultural, historical, and civic life of our region. We believe that strong communities are built through shared understanding, preserved heritage, and meaningful local storytelling.
This next chapter is inspired by our deep gratitude for the communities we serve and our commitment to continue uplifting the voices, stories, and history that make Eastern Colorado such a special place.
We hope you’ll join us on this journey!
