Join United Power as they celebrate the commissioning of their latest innovation in sustainable energy: a pioneering multi-site utility-scale battery storage project, the first of its kind to be integrated into the distribution system for load balancing and integration of local renewable energy.  This is a significant milestone toward a greener, more reliable energy future.

This innovative project is a partnership between United Power, an electric cooperative serving Colorado’s northern Front Range, and Ameresco, a leading cleantech integrator specializing in energy efficiency. 

Under the 20-year agreement, Ameresco will operate a multi-site, 78.3 MW/313.34 MWh battery storage project on the cooperative’s electric distribution system.
