CHAMBER MATTERS

BOD Icon

BOARD Matters - the Board of Directors is the governing body of the Southeast Weld County Chamber.  The Board is comprised of a group of volunteers who are tasked with being a voice for the businesses in the communities we serve.  The Board is responsible for making policies, setting strategy, management oversight and protecting the interests of the business members that we serve.  Look in this section to view the Chamber Bylaws, Board Meeting Minutes, Director Responsibilities and Application, Messages from the Board and other items directly related to the Chamber Board of Directors.  Much of the information published here is Chamber sensitive and is available to members only.  It is therefore password protected and can be accessed with your MEMBER LOGIN.  Don't have a member login?  Contact Tammy and she'll be happy to get you set up!

The BOARD MEETING MINUTES are password protected and can be accessed by logging in with your MEMBER LOGIN.  Once logged in to the INFO HUB, click on RESOURCES in the left column to access the published meeting minutes.  Please note that the published minutes are for the consumption of CHAMBER MEMBERS ONLY and should not be shared with non-members.

MEMBER Matters - do you have some exciting news to share about your business?  Is your business relocating?  Are you running a special that you want everyone to know about?  This is the place to post it.  Simply create your flyer or write your promo in the InfoHub section and send for review by the Chamber Administrator.  Once reviewed for accuracy (dates, time, etc.) your promo will be approved and published for consumption.  Please indicate if your promo is intended for other Chamber members only so that it can be password protected prior to publication.  REMEMBER - as a Chamber member, YOU have the benefit of posting your own events on the Chamber calendar.  Please reach out if you need instructions on how to do that!

“Stars of 76” Reader’s Choice Awards

From coffee shops to convenience stores, we love celebrating the businesses that work so hard to provide outstanding service to their customers out here on the plains of eastern Colorado.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce the first annual “Stars of 76” Reader’s Choice Awards!

Designed to spotlight ANY of the businesses along the I-76 corridor— in and around the communities of Lochbuie, Hudson, Keenesburg, Roggen, and Wiggins, as well as all members of the Southeast Weld County Chamber—this campaign gives your customers the power to vote for you, their favorite - as many times as they want!

Whether you’re a hometown restaurant, a trusted service provider, a tattoo shop, a farm-based business, or anything in between, this is your chance to shine!

Every participating business receives a full Registration Packet, which includes access to our comprehensive Marketing Kit—everything you need to spread the word and bring the votes in all campaign long. You'll use these tools to rally your customers, energize your supporters, and showcase the pride you bring to eastern Colorado. Inside your customizable Marketing Kit you’ll find:

A “Vote for Us” door sign
A “Vote for Us” Facebook post and banner
The official "Stars of 76" logo
A QR code and voting button that link directly to the "Stars of 76" campaign page on the Lost Creek Sentinel website

Let’s celebrate the businesses that help make our plains communities strong, connected, and uniquely ours!

Registration for the Stars of 76 campaign opens December 1st! Be sure to mark your calendar and set a reminder to email RegisterforStarsof76@gmail.com on December 1st to request your customizable Marketing Kit.  The cost of the Marketing Kit is $150 and once your payment is received, you’ll be able to download your kit, tailor it to your business, and be fully prepared when voting begins.

Voting opens at midnight on January 1st and runs through midnight on March 31st.

Winners in each category will be notified on April 6th by phone and/or email, and a formal announcement will be published in the Lost Creek Sentinel. Each category winner will receive:

  • A complimentary quarter-page ad in the Sentinel (a $600 value)
  • A feature story showcasing their business in a future edition
  • A beautiful “Stars of 76” branded shadowbox award that includes your feature story and winning category to proudly display in your business.
  • Best of all would be the bragging rights that come from knowing your customers/clients really appreciate you and the service/product you provide!

To make the most of your campaign, encourage your customers to vote for you as often as they’d like! Add “Vote for Us” messaging to your social media, invoices, receipts, menus, table tents, flyers, and prominently display the “Vote for Us” poster on your doors—we recommend printing the poster on 11x17 or larger paper for maximum visibility.

Your business name will appear in the January, February, and March editions of the Sentinel in the “Stars of 76” campaign listing alongside others in your category. You may also purchase a discounted “Vote for Us” advertisement—whether you choose one edition or all three, adding an ad is a great way to boost your visibility and increase your votes!
